The state level PTET examination that is being conducted across Rajasthan by Dungar University, Bikaner, will be held on 16 September.
Dr Pramila Singhvi, Assistant Director (Udaipur Zone), Department of College Education and examination coordinator at Udaipur, informed that there are 47 centers across Udaipur district where the examination will be conducted. 19,878 candidates are registered for the examination, which will be held across 47 examination centers in the district. Of the 19,878 candidates, 11,996 candidates have registered for the 2 year BEd course and 7,882 candidates have registered for the 4 year course.
Examination for entry to the 4 year BEd course will be conducted in the first session from 9am till 12pm. The second session, which will be for candidates registered for the 2 year course, will be held from 3pm till 6pm. Admit cards can be downloaded from the PTET website. Photo ID card is mandatory.
Dr Pramila also informed that COVID safety protocol has been established across all centers. The examination coordinators will ensure that government suggested protocols are followed. All candidates will be required to wear a mask at the center. Candidates who are COVID positive will NOT BE PERMITTED to appear for the examination. As per Dr Pramila, these orders from the department will be carried out verbatim. There is no clarity on the alternative arrangements for candidates who are COVID positive. Candidates will only be allowed to carry a bottle of water, admit card, photo ID card into the examination center.
