Creating better job opportunities, College of Science takes initiative

With the intention of improving job opportunities for their students, College of Science is going to conduct AMCAT exam in the month of September. This exam is the outcome of collaboration between Mohan Lal Sukhadia University and Aspiring Minds, one of the biggest placement agencies in India. This exam will be conducted free of cost for the next three years.

 

With the intention of improving job opportunities for their students, College of Science is going to conduct AMCAT exam in the month of September. This exam will be conducted free of cost for the next three years.

Dean of College of Science and Chairperson of the placement cell, Professor Maheep Bhatnagar said, “This exam is going to be beneficial in the evaluation of student’s overall development, and will provide equitable job opportunities”.

“AMCAT will test students logical and quantative ability, English and Hindi language skills, and evaluate their personality. On the basis of this test, students will be given a marks sheet which would help them acknowledge their weak areas, they need to work on”, he added.

According to program coordinator, Professor Kanika Sharma, a meeting is going to be organized in the science college on September 4, where representative of Aspiring Mind will give more information on the AMCAT exam.

Under the placement cell of Science College, Polymer Science Department is going to organize campus placement from September 5th to September 8th in which one of the world’s well known tyre companies, B. K. Tyre is coming to recruit students.

Students of B. Sc (Maths) and M. Sc (Polymer Science) can register with their documents on September 4th and 5th in this department.
