The deadline for submitting online applications to enroll in Rajasthan's Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools has been extended, allowing applicants more time to apply. Previously set for May 12, 2024, the new deadline is now May 15, 2024.

Officials from the education department disclosed that approximately 85,000 applications have already been received. In response to the high number of applications, they have decided to extend the deadline to accommodate more candidates.

Originally scheduled for May 14, the lottery draw to select candidates was anticipated. However, due to the extension of the application deadline, the lottery schedule will now be announced separately. This decision aims to ensure fairness and transparency in the selection process.
