District Education Officer Shivji Gaud has issued Show Cause Notices to 10 Government School teachers citing negligence on their part and two other teachers were issued APO citing utter negligence after students met with an accident 10 days ago.

The notices were issued after the DEO and local MLA Phool Singh Meena visited Bara Secondary School at 8:15am and in the absence of teachers, conducted the assembly on their own.

Earlier, 3 students of the same school had met with an accident and an enquiry committee was set up to ascertain whether the accident occurred during school hours or outside school hours.  It was concluded that the accident occurred during school hours, since the school was dismissed earlier than usual on the fateful day, after a Condolence meet was arranged to condole the death of Class X student.

Teachers who were handed Show Cause Notice were Akaanksha Dubey, Shefali Mehta, Anjna Mishra, Mamta Bhatt, Kamlesh Meena and Geeta Meena.  Chandralata Lakhara and Rashmi Sharma were given APO.
