District Education Officer gives notice to School over alleged negligence

Following the complaint of parents against Ryan International school management for number of negligence on their part, education officers and MLA visited the school today and inspected the situation.
District Education Officer directed both parents and school to mutually settle the issue so the students don’t have to suffer.
Parents were angry when the school authority did not give the receipt of Rs.650, the amount asked from the participants of school annual function, alleged mistreatment of teachers like giving physical punishments and ill-treatment to parents.
DEO of Primary Schools, Bhupendra Kumar Jain asked the school authority to provide receipts of Rs.650. He also asked school to make Parent’s Association and parents will decide their own leader.
According to DEO, there is a regulation for parents’ association in CBSE and every CBSE board school has to make the parent’s association.
MLA Phool Singh Meena got angry when he was asked to wait outside the school. Meena said that, when the school can treat an MLA like this then how they will behave with parents is well understood.
DEO has also given written notice to school for giving alleged physical punishment to the students; DEO said that if any such complaint is received again, then strict action will be taken against the school.
Officers also checked copies of students and found several mistakes on the part of teachers.
School authority said that they have been in touch with their seniors in Delhi and will take required action by Saturday.
