A Fresher’s Party was organized at Guru Nanak PG Girls’ College on Friday which was won by Divya Joshi followed by Avi Bhandari and Saloni Garg as first and second runner up, respectively.

Principal Prof. NS Rathore informed that at the cultural programme held at the college, the chief guest was MLSU’s Vice Chancellor Prof. IV Trivedi while the guests of honor were KS Gill and DS Pahwa with special guests US Dhingra and Amarpal Singh Pahwa.

The programme commenced with various competitions such as solo and group song, folk dance, Western dance etc. To select the apt student for the title, the girls were asked to perform cat walk dressed in traditional outfit in the first round followed by talent round and question answer round. The girl with the highest marks was announced the winner.
