Fingerprinting and molecular biology laboratory at The Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MBBT), Rajasthan College of Agriculture was inaugurated today by Professor O.P Gill, Vice Chancellor of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT).

Dr S.R Malu (Dean of RCA), Dr. Arunabh Joshi (HoD MBBT), Dr. Y.C Bhatt (Dean, Student Welfare) and all HoDs, students and faculties were present on the occasion.

Dr. O.P Gill praised the various research works carried out by different sections and said that, the research based on DNA should get importance in the present scenario.

Dr. Arunabh Joshi said, “The laboratory is developed under the National Agriculture Program by Rajasthan Government. Currently research is being done on various types of spices, pulses and medicinal plants.”
