The Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology awarded Doctorate degrees to 57 researchers today who researched on various topics in between 1^st January 2010 to 30^th November 2011.

The topics included research on Cattle Production, Fisheries, Genetics, Science of Insects, Finance, Agriculture Economics, Food Engineering, Renewable Power Sources, etc.

Doctor of Philosophy, abbreviated as Ph.D, is a post-graduate academic degree awarded by Universities. The word Philosophy here is used in a broader sense that comes from its meaning in Latin that is “Love for wisdom”.
