Dr Uma Shankar Sharma is appointed as a new vice chancellor of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT) Udaipur today.

An official appointment letter from The Governor of Rajasthan Kalyan Singh who is also a Chancellor of MPUAT is received today. Dr Sharma will take the position of vice chancellor on 11^th March.

Dr Sharma was former professor of entomology; he studied in MPUAT and later served there.

Dr Umashankar Sharma was also honored Fellowship Award from Common Wealth Education and Management administration. He was also honored by Governor of Gujarat, Dr Sharma extensively contributed in number of national and international events related to research and education representing MPUAT.

His news of appointment as a vice chancellor is joyfully received by MPUAT staff and students.
