A study group comprising 18 students from Duke University, USA visited Udaipur under Global Semester Abroad Program for socio-economic studies of the Udaipur Division.

A seminar was organized for their benefit attended and addressed by Dr. Subodh Agarwal, Divisional Commissioner, Prof. Anirudh Krishna from Duke University, Prof. I.V. Trivedi, V.C., MLSU and Riyaz Tehseen from Vidhya Bhavan Society.

Subodh Agarwal acquainted students with the peculiarities of social and economic profile of the area while Prof. Anirudh Krishna led the discourse on the cultural aspects of rural and tribal life of the people. Tahseen exhorted students to go for deeper analysis of the rural demography of the division.
