The Rajasthan State Council of Educational Research and Training (RSCERT) has initiated a course aimed at enhancing self-esteem and promoting body confidence among students in Classes 6-8. This innovative teaching employs comic books to elucidate the physiological changes experienced during adolescence.

Pilot Project Success

Commencing initially in Barmer and Dungarpur districts in collaboration with UNICEF, the pilot project garnered a positive response from students and educators alike.

Expansion Plans

Following the success of the pilot phase, the program is set to expand to additional districts including Udaipur, Ajmer, Karauli, and Alwar in its second phase.

Digital Access for Statewide Reach

To facilitate broader dissemination, the comic books have been digitized and made accessible through the department's online portal. This ensures that teachers across Rajasthan can easily incorporate this vital content into their curriculum.

Training and Resources

RSCERT has organized comprehensive teacher training sessions at state, district, and block levels. Additionally, schools have received sets of comic books along with a guidebook for teachers. The course is integrated into the No Bag Day initiative, enhancing its accessibility and impact.
