Fee hike has created tension in Commerce College. Absence of a help desk is adding to troubles. Student Union President of Commerce College did a show down in front Vice Chancellor JP Sharma regarding improper facilities.

President of Student Union Himanshu Panwar Joy did a show down in front of VC JP Sharma. Panwar said that in the absence of a help desk in college, students are finding it difficult to find assistance for the troubles that they face on a regular basis.

To add to this, hike in fees for B.Com Third year is beyond expectations. This sudden exorbitant fee hike is a cause of concern for all students. Prior to Diwali, fees shown on the website was 1800 rupees which has gone to 2400 rupees post Diwali.

Himanshu Panwar also pointed out that the results for supplementary exams for Third year have not yet been declared which is again an issue. VC Sharma has assured that all issues will be taken care of at the earliest. He also added that the fee hike is as per government’s orders. Students have threatened to go on a strike if the issues are not resolved.
