In a district level function, 176 girl students of the division were awarded Scooty. Out of these 163 girls were from SC/ST category and 13 girls were from general category. The girls were awarded for their exemplary performance in Xth and XIIth grade examinations.

Naresh Dangi, District Education Officer, informed that 250 girls were also given Laptop during the function.

The function saw the presence of MP Arjun Lal Meena, Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria, MP CP Joshi, Collector Bishnu Charan Mallick amongst others.
