Udaipur, January 1, 2025 - The deadline for girls to apply for the Gargi Award and the Balika Protsahan Puruskar has once again been extended. The new last date for online applications is now January 15. After this date, applications will not be accepted. Previously, the deadline was set for December 31.

For the Gargi award, students who have passed 10th grade this year with over 75% marks will receive Rs 3,000 and a certificate. Girls who scored over 75% in 12th grade will be awarded the Balika Protsahan Puruskaar of Rs 3,000.

To be eligible for the award, the candidate's marksheet from Secondary/Higher Secondary and the data recorded in the Jan Aadhaar card (girl's name, parents' name, date of birth and gender) must fully match. The award amount will be directly transferred to the candidate's account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

Gargi Puraskar Scholarship is an initiative by the Government of Rajasthan where female students get financial aid to continue their education.
