GITS ECE Students win Texas Analog Maker Competition
Analog Maker Competition was organized today by Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies (GITS) in association with Texas Instruments, Bangalore at GITS campus.

240 students from electronics and electrical branches took part in the competition in which, fourth year students Sarang Raj Dadhich, Shubham Yadav, Bharatkumar Joshi, Vishwajeet Kumawat and Rahul Joshi were awarded first prize.
Sourabh Porwal, Competition Coordinator and Assistant Professor of Electronics Department informed, “All the participants were asked to make a project “on the spot” in three hours duration. Technical utilities like IC Chips and other electronic items were provided by Texas Instruments.”
Sidhharth Yerate (AdGate Expert) who checked every project thoroughly announced the names of winners.
All winners were given a hi-tech Ez430 Wrist Watch as a prize. The watch is loaded with several features including 96 segment LCD Display, temperature sensor, pressure sensor, battery voltage sensor etc. and could be connected through wireless.
Professor Rajiv Mathur (Dean, Research and Development) expressed his gratitude and best wishes to all participants and said, “Such events are both useful and necessary to prepare students for the industry.”
Dr. A. Raman, Principal of GITS informed that Texas Instruments and GITS are coming up with a research laboratory, for which a MoU is already signed.
