Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies organized a district level Symposium in which teachers and principals of various schools were invited to discuss the importance of Science.

The key speaker of the symposium was Principal of GITS Dr A. Raman who has been a former ISRO scientist. He informed about how ISRO scientists used unique techniques to create infrared telescope. Another speaker Lakshmi Raman, also a former ISRO scientist said how ISRO gives importance to humanistic values.

Rajiv Mathur, Head of Research (GITS) informed about the harmful rays that are emitted from a mobile phone. The symposium turned out to be an informative program for all present at the venue.
