GMCH students take Oath of Cleanliness
Students of Medical, Nursing, Dental, Physiotherapy and Pharmacy of Geetanjali Medical College and Institute took oath of cleanliness today under a campaign “Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat” (Clean India, Healthy India).

Symbolizing the character of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. F.S Mehta, Dean GMCH encouraged students to get involved in the mission of clean and healthy India.
Mehta said that, Gandhi ji had not only dreamt of political freedom of India but also imagined India as a clean and developed country. The dream of Gandhi ji was adopted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who initiated Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on 2nd Oct.
Program coordinator Dr Manjinder Kaur has informed that several competitions will be organized under this campaign like poster making, poster exhibition and debate etc.
Hostel rooms of Medical College will be inspected and the best student will be selected as Brand Ambassador of Cleanliness. The campaign will be concluded on 14th Nov with prize distribution ceremony.
