Government Pharmacy college to be opened in Udaipur

Udaipur will soon have a government pharmacy college. State Government has sent a proposal to Central Government’s Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi for setting up colleges in Udaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota, Jhalawar along with SMS Medical college in Jaipur.

 
Government Pharmacy college to be opened in Udaipur

Udaipur will soon have a government pharmacy college. State Government has sent a proposal to Central Government’s Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi for setting up colleges in Udaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota, Jhalawar along with SMS Medical college in Jaipur.

Over the last 30 years, only 1 Govt pharmacy college has been established in Rajasthan at SMS Hospital Campus, Jaipur by the name Public Health Training Institute.

If all goes well, Diploma and PG Courses will be initiated in SMS Medical College Jaipur, JLN Ajmer, SP Medical College Bikaner, SN Medical College Jodhpur, Government College Kota, RNT Udaipur and Jhalawar. Buildings and Lab staff are available at these colleges for starting pharmacy college.

This initiative will be supported by Central Government.
