Udaipur, Jan 8, 2026 – The second convocation ceremony of Bhupal Nobles (BN) University was held on Wednesday (January 7) at the BN ground, Udaipur. Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde was Chief Guest at the event and given a Guard of Honour upon arrival by NCC cadets of the institution.

During the convocation ceremony, the Governor conferred PhD degrees on 90 research scholars, awarded gold medals to 47 students and granted degrees to a total of 2,025 students from various faculties.

Bagde ceremonially paid homage to Maharana Bhupal Singh by laying a wreath at his statue on the Institute campus.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Bagde said that BN Institution, which began as a modest school, has today established itself as a prestigious university with national recognition. The institution, he added, is fulfilling the vision of social upliftment through education laid by Mewar’s inspirational leader Maharana Bhupal Singh.

The Governor emphasised that Mewar is a tribal-dominated region and that BN Institution has played a crucial role in spreading education in tribal areas. He stressed that connecting tribal communities with higher education is the need of the hour so that they can actively participate in nation-building.

The convocation ceremony was attended by Special Guest, former Vice-Chancellor and Higher Education Advisor to the Governor of Rajasthan, Professor Kailash Sodani. Acting president Professor SS Sarangdevot presided over the function.
