National level Hand-Writing competition will be starting from 1st July and will continue till 30th September, 2011 and will be conducted across sixty thousand schools from all over India as well as Nepal.

A press conference was held at the Lake City Press Club today announcing the start of the National Handwriting Olympiad 2011 conducted by Indore based leaders of children’s education company Master Mind Tutorial Pvt. Ltd.

Hand Writing Olympiad to Start from 1st JulyThe purpose of this competition is to encourage those students who are able to write neatly as well as to have a chance to improve the handwriting skills of those students who lack in this field. This way, the organizers hope to show the student community the importance of having a neat and legible handwriting in the future.

The National Coordinator of the competition Mr. Jitendra Gupta has appointed Mr. Ravindra Kalarthi to be the person in charge for the competition for Udaipur District. Mr. Kalarthi is the owner of the Kalarthi Fine Arts academy in Bhupalpura. According to him, the aim of this competition in Udaipur is to have a total of fifteen thousand students participate from the city.

The competition will be divided into two categories: one for the students from 4th to 7th standard and the other for the students from 8th to 12th standard.

The competition will be divided into a total of 4 levels which are the school level, the district level, the state level and finally the national level.

Hand Writing Olympiad to Start from 1st JulyDuring the school level event, the participating students will be given 15 minutes to write for the competition. Students will then be selected from the school, district and state level by a number of judges who will compare the different samples that have been submitted.

For the final competition, the student will be required to write again which will then be used to decide the winner of the competition. The final round of the competition is expected to be held on 20th December in Indore and the result is expected to be declared on 28th December, 2011.

The entry fee for the competition is Rs. 50/- and the prize money for the first, second and third students is Rs. 1 Lac, Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 25,000 respectively.
