Prof. Chandalia Invited as a  Member of Scientific Committee by Mazandaran Farhangian University, Iran

Udaipur, Prof.Hemendra Singh Chandalia, Professor of English at Janardan Rai  Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be a University), Udaipur has been invited by Mazandaran Farhangian University, Iran to be a member of the Scientific Committee for the Fourth National and the First International Conference on Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) in TEFL. Dr. S.B.Mirshojaee Conference Executive Chair, has invited Prof. Chandalia  to be a member of this prestigious committee.

The Farhangian University specializes in educating prospective teaches and the TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) is important since it is expected to equip the student teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary for qualified teachers. 25 research papers had been accepted for the Third National Conference on PCK in TEFL held by Farhangian University on 30 September 2020.

About Prof. Hemendra Singh Chandalia

Prof Hemendra Singh Chandalia has been teaching English for over three and a half decades and has served as Head of the Department of English and Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Rajasthan Vidyapeeth and Central University of Haryana as well as the officiating Vice Chancellor of Central University of Haryana across his illustrious academic career. He has published twenty one books, forty two research articles and has participated in more than one hundred International and national seminars and conferences. He has also been a UGC Visiting Professor at Sambalpur University, Odisha. He has also been conferred with more than half a dozen academic awards including the prestigious Prof. Nand Kumar Lavande Academic Excellence Award in 2017. He was also appointed as the nominee of the President of India in the Court of Banaras Hindu University.

He founded Rajasthan Association for Studies in English along with late Prof. S.N.Joshi. R.A.S.E has successfully organised seventeen conferences in the last seventeen years and publishes an annual refereed journal of literary research.
