Rekha Mahatma has been awarded with the degree of PhD by Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth University Udaipur for her research “History of Delwara Thikana.”

Rekha Mahatma did intense research in the field of History, while she completed her PhD under the guidance of Prof. Girish Nath Mathur.

According to Rekha, Delwara Thikana played an important role in the history of Mewar.
