Holiday draws crowd at National Book Fair in Udaipur
National Book fair, organized under collaboration by JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University and National Book Trust, Union Ministry of Human Resource Development drew a large crowd on the second day of the 9-day long fair.
National Book fair, organized under collaboration by JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University and National Book Trust, Union Ministry of Human Resource Development drew a large crowd on the second day of the 9-day long fair.
Organized for the first time in Udaipur, the book fair attracted readers of all age groups which enjoyed exploring the national as well as international authors and their books in both English and Hindi languages. The 80 stalls installed at the fair have more than 20,000 books written on around 2000 topics.
The plethora of books available at the fair are mostly of advantage to the students and youth as various competitive books, tutorials, academic books and references are being provided in Hindi as well as English including audio CDs too.
The special attraction of the fair is the cultural competitions and seminars that will be conducted for people of all age groups from 6 PM onward. Also, a program called ‘Kathalok’ will be organized for kids to learn story writing.
