Home Science College celebrates its 49th Year with ‘Evefest 2015’

The 49th Annual Day “EVEFEST -2015” of College of Home Science, a unit of MPUAT was celebrated in AVP hall, CTAE. Dr. Kiran Jain, President Mahila Samraddhi Bank was the Chief Guest of the program.

The Dean Prof. Arti Sankhla and ADSW  Prof. Dhriti Solanki welcomed the chief guest and highlighted the achievements and progress of college during last year. She announced that the year 2016 will be celebrated as Golden Jubilee Year of the college.

The Chief Guest of the program showered the blessing and congratulated students for their specific achievements. She motivated students by saying that they should groom their personality along with academics for their better future.

The program started with holy Ganesha vandana. The nursery kids of Human Development and Family Studies department of college gave colorful performances. Their message of patriotism conquered every heart presented there. The aura of various dance forms like Punjabi, Retro, Salsa and Western created a rainbow of joy. Parents as well as guests roared in claps and appreciated students’ efforts.

For active and enthusiastic participation in respective activities during academic year 2014-15, Best Outgoing Student award was conferred to – Nidhi Kothari, Best NSS volunteer -Neha Jatav, Best Hosteler-Swati Shukla, Bhom Kumari Mehta Award-Varsha Hada , Kalyanji Memorial Rolling Shield – IV class staff and All Rounder sports trophy went to Anuradha Kaswan.

The program was anchored by Dr. Gayatri Tiwari, Astha Khatri and Swati Shukla. College President Priyanka Kumawat gave the vote of thanks.
