Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIM Udaipur) hosted its 3rd Annual Convocation on Saturday, March 21, 2015. The occasion witnessed a ceremony with eminent stalwarts of the industry and society drawn together in an engaging alliance.

The Ceremony was held at MLSU Auditorium of Mohan Lal Sukhadia University Campus. This year, the Chief Guest of the event was R. Gopalakrishnan, Chairman of Tata Sons. The convocation was declared open by C.K. Birla, Chairperson of the Board of Governors of IIMU.

In his welcome address, Birla shared his vision for IIM Udaipur which aspires to be a forefront for management research, while also doing well for the community as well. In his message for the graduating young future managers, he said “It is a competitive world out there and you can take on any challenge the world throws at you. Guard your values & beliefs and everything you have.”

The honorable Chief Guest R Gopalakrishnan in his convocation address advised the graduating students to always balance their professional life with their personal life. He told students that when you go out in the society it will be good to remind themselves about all the labors that have been put into them by their parents, teachers & mentors.

Prof. Janat Shah, Director of the Institute, delivered the concluding address. During the Convocation, 11 Post Graduate Program in Management for Executives (PGPX) participants and 110 Post Graduate Program (PGP) participants received the Diploma.

Medals for Academic Excellence were presented to the following students by the Chief Guest:

1) The IIM Udaipur Gold Medal for Scholastic Performance (Post Graduate Program) – Angad Singh Abrol

2) The IIM Udaipur Gold Medal for Best All-Round Performance (Post Graduate Program) – Angad Singh Abrol

3) The IIM Udaipur Gold Medal for Scholastic Performance (Post Graduate Program for Executives) – Anuj Gupta
