IIM Udaipur releases Interim Placement Report
IIM Udaipur today released its Interim Placement report the graduated batch 2012-14. 3 International Offers were rolled out by EMEL Group and NMC Healthcare.
IIM Udaipur today released its Interim Placement report the graduated batch 2012-14. Three International Offers were rolled out by EMEL Group and NMC Healthcare. The mean and the median salary figures were both above Rs 10L. The report mentioned an overwhelming 45 students receiving offers over Rs 10L per annum.
A total of 52 companies participated in the final placement process, offering a wide variety of new, niche and regular roles spanning across Finance, Consulting, Sales and Marketing, Operations, Analytics, IT, HR, Business Development and General Management.
The report says that this year saw an overwhelming response from new recruiters such as Cognizant, Accenture, Dell International Services, EY, Godrej & Boyce, MindTree Ltd., Titan Industries etc., to name a few.
Regular recruiters like Bajaj Auto Ltd., Crompton Greaves, GE India, HPCL, ICICI Bank, Quikr, Genpact, Mother Dairy and YES Bank continued their association with the institute. ICICI bank was the largest recruiter, hiring a total of 8 students from campus. Cognizant, a first time recruiter, was the second largest recruiter hiring a total of 6 students.
In terms of the highest domestic offer on campus, GE India emerged as the biggest recruiter for this year’s placement process, followed by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited.
2 students also took the entrepreneurial route and opted out of the placement process to start their own venture.
