Since the day of inception, Indian Institute of Management Udaipur has focused towards creating a legacy of its own.

In the process of carving a niche for itself around the strong and clear vision, the institute is organizing its first HR Conclave – Spandan’13.

The conclave will act as a platform where learned practitioners from the field of Human Resource Management will guide the future generations of managers about the transformation in HR practices to cater to the new business priorities of modern times.

The first edition of the summit, Spandan’13 will be held on October 20, 2013 and the venue for the Conclave is Sheraton, Udaipur.

The theme for this is “Transforming HR for new business practices”. This theme will be explored by the learned guests in a panel discussion on three sub-themes:

1) Changing business outlook towards HR Practices

2) Role of change management with increasing globalization

3) Developing next generation of corporate leaders

The underlying purpose of the event is to bridge the gap between the industry and academics.

The students of IIM Udaipur will get a platform to learn from the vast experience and knowledge of the panelists and understand what these leaders feel about the constant change taking place in the HR domain across the Industry.

The event will also facilitate quality interaction of the panelists with the students to enrich their knowledge and perception about HR.
