IIM Udaipur welcomes 5th Batch of PGP Programme
The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur welcomed the students of its 5th PGP batch. The event was organized by senior students in a colorful way. According to the sources, 150 students would enroll for PGP program in IIM U this year.
New students were welcomed in traditional Rajasthan style with turbans, songs and placards with their names written on them.
Ankur Warikoo, CEO Groupon India was the chief guest of the event. He shared his experience and learning from life. Warikoo also gave three key advices to the students – take risk of making mistakes and learn. Second, make a mafia of their own which meant to make good friends and great team for future and last, don’t run after jobs and consider IIMU as a learning platform. Right opportunities would come at right time.
Dr Janat Shah, director of IIM U addressed the students about the culture and vision of IIMU. The session was also telecasted love for the parents accompanying their children.
