IIM-Udaipur successfully completed its summer placement session 2014-15 in which 48 companies made 110 offers across various domains.

IIM-Udaipur successfully completed its summer placement session 2014-15 in which 48 companies made 110 offers across various domains.

The BFSI sector continued to offer the largest number of internships followed by Manufacturing/Engineering/Energy. The largest number of internship roles was offered in Sales/Marketing followed by the Finance domain.

Past recruiters including Boston Consulting Group, Cummins India, Deloitte, Dover Corporation, GE, HPCL, ICICI Bank, ICRA Management Consulting, Ratnakar Bank, Reliance General Insurance, Talisma, UAE Exchange, United Biscuits, Yes Bank, Wipro etc. strengthened its association with IIM-U.

Some of the first time recruiters were Amul, Berger Paints, Birla SunLife, Bosch, CRISIL, ITC, Jindal Steels and Power, Larsen & Toubro, Timken, Titan, Zensar Technologies and GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals.

IIM-U continued to partner with the prestigious Global Business Project, a consortium of six global management schools. Two IIMU students will intern doing consulting projects for HPCL and ICICI bank as part of a GBP term along with students from the US, China and Brazil.

Commenting on the occasion, Shabbir Husain, Manager, Corporate Relations said, “It is heartening to see our past recruiters continue their support and a lot of first time recruiters placing their confidence in the Institute. The success of the summer placements at IIMU attests to the Institute’s growing reputation backed by its strong fundamentals.”

The Indian Institute of Management- Udaipur is one of the few B-Schools that follow the Indian Placement Reporting Standards (IPRS) to bring transparency in reporting its placement statistics.
