According to the methodology deployed by the UT Dallas’ Naveen Jindal School of Management, IIMU is now rated among the top 5 Indian business schools based on research published in leading global journals.

UT Dallas’ Naveen Jindal School of Management has created a database of research publications in 24 leading global business journals.  This database consists of titles and author affiliations in the papers published in these journals since 1990.

Over the years, UT Dallas has been preparing The UTD Top 100 Worldwide Business School Rankings and The UTD Top 100 North American Business School Ranking.  Using the same methodology, and taking 2012-2016 as the period of publication, the ranking as per score has been derived.

The Indian School of Business (ISB) stands tall as the Top Indian Business School with a score of 17.23, followed by Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) which got a score of 5.65.  IIM Lucknow and IIM Udaipur took third and fourth position with scores of 1.5 and 0.94 respectively, closely followed by IIM Ahmedabad, which scored 0.91 and IIM Trichi on 6^th place with 0.5.  Seventh place was shared by IIM Calcutta, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi and IRMA each with a score of 0.33.

These rankings substantiate the efforts put through by the team at IIM Udaipur in developing the institute as one to be reckoned with, in Management Research.
