IIT Roorkee releases JEE Advanced 2026 practice test papers; check exam date, pattern insights; application process from April 23 to May 2, 2026
April 14, 2026 - The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the official practice test papers for the engineering entrance exam JEE Advanced 2026, scheduled to be held on May 17, 2026. The online application process for the exam (for candidates qualified through JEE Main 2026) will begin on April 23, 2026, and continue until May 2, 2026.
The released practice papers aim to help candidates understand the technical aspects of the online examination as well as get an idea about the expected difficulty level of the question paper. The question paper is divided into multiple sections across Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, each with different instructions and marking schemes. Detailed understanding of the instructions and marking pattern of each section is crucial.
Exam candidates can learn about the question submission and review process through these practice tests, which are conducted in an online format.
However, students are advised to note that the exam pattern for JEE Advanced is not pre-declared and therefore, the practice papers will not necessarily reflect the actual exam pattern.
