The trains will play from tomorrow 4 September till 15 September between Udaipur-Jaipur, Jaipur-Bikaner and Sri Ganganagar-Kota routes

North Western Railway division of Indian Railways is plying 4 sets of trains in Rajasthan between September 4-15 for candidates appearing for NEET, JEE and NDA examinations. The trains will ply on Udaipur-Jaipur, Jaipur-Bikaner and Sri Ganganagar - Kota routes. These trains have been specially aranged during COVID times for the benefit of students.

The train # 02991-SPL will ply from Udaipur to Jaipur between 4 September till 15 September and make 12 trips in all. The train will leave Udaipur at 0600hrs and reach Jaipur at 1335hrs.  The train # 02992-SPL will ply from Jaipur to Udaipur between 4 September till 15 September and make 12 trips in all. The train will leave Jaipur at 2135hrs and reach Udaipur at 1400 hrs the next day. Both trains will have 13 coaches in all. 

NEET will be conducted on 13 September and JEE will go on till 6 September. The NDA examinations, both NDA 1 and NDA 2 will be conducted on 6 September. The number of centers for all the examinations being conducted by National Testing Agency have been increased substantially with alternate seating plans, lesser number of candidates per class room, and staggered entry and exit are among the steps that have been taken by the NTA for conducting the examinations with maximum possible care.

Earlier the Joint Engineering Examinations - Mains for admission to reputed engineering colleges across India began amid tight precautions and social distancing protocol on 1 September. The examinations were conducted inspite of resistance and a call to postpone the examinations in view of the COVID pandemic gripping the nation. The JEE Mains had already been deferred twice in the last 6 months.
