A lecture session on innovation and reforms in Agriculture was organized by the Maharana Pratap University of Technology and Agriculture, Udaipur today. The session was organized at the CTAE College, where the special guest for the session Dr. VV Sadamate, former Advisor to the Agriculture Planning Commission gave his key note address.

Speaking on innovations and reforms leading to agriculture proliferation, Dr Sadamate said that Krishi Vigyan Kendras are playing the most important role in the country. These Kendras are taking innovations in agriculture to the farmers.

Chief Guest Dr. Narendra Singh Rathore, Vice Chancellor, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur elaborated on the various innovations being done by Krishi Vigyan Kendras in the field of agricultural technology for the promotion of agricultural technology and elaborated on the future of innovation in agriculture.

Speaking on the University’s actions action plan, Dr. PK Singh, Dean CTAE College gave information about the technology and machines developed by the college for farmers.

Scientists from all Krishi Vigyan Kendras under MPUAT and Deans, Directors, Professors and students from all colleges under the University participated in the program.
