With the topic “Present Education system is capable of lifting Moral Objective”, an inter college debate competition was organized today at the seminar hall of R.N.T Medical College.

The program was held in the memory of legendry scholar and educationist Late Devishankar Shrimali.

Organized by Mateshwari Teacher’s Training College; more than 50 students took part in the debate. Students shared their views on different aspects of the debate subject.

The program was started with the traditional lightning of lamp by the chief guests that included Prof. I. V. Trivedi Vice chancellor MLSU, Prof. Vijaylaxmi Chouhan, Dr. S. K. Kaushik Principal R.N.T Medical College.

Audience praised the views presented by the participants of the competition. Out of 52 participants, many stated their observation against the topic and many agreed with the subject title.

Inter College Debate Competition in memory of Devishankar Shrimali

The program was hosted by Mateshwari Teacher’s Training College in the memory of Late Devishankar Shrimali, the great thinker, educationist and scholar of his time, who revitalized the position of Librarian and did high end research and study in Library Science.

Devishankar Shrimali also authored “Reference Source in Agriculture” which is believed to be one of the best sources of information in the field of agriculture. Later, Shrimali joined Shantikunj Haridwar and worked for society.

According to Dr. Shobha Gowalkar, principal of Mateshwari Teacher’s Training College the debate competition was organized to illuminate the knowledge and information in youth, while social face is changing in a high pace.
