The English Department of MLSU organized a Niyaz Ahmed Memorial Inter-College Debate Competition on 5^th February in which 23 students of various colleges participated on the topic ‘Social Media has done more Harm than Good.’

Faculty of Management Studies’ Shiva Sharma, CTAE’s Ankit Balwada & Aman Dikshit and CTAE’s Zara won the first, second and third respectively. The overall competition was won by Faculty of Management Studies who was conferred with a trophy.

The chief guest of the function was Vice Chancellor Prof I.V Trivedi; Professor Farida Shah managed the event and Shive Sharma and Asha Sharma of MG College with Dr. Mukta Sharma of Vidyapeeth adjudged the event.

The delegates paid tribute to Prof Niyaz Ahmed. The guests were welcomed by Dr. Seema Malik, vote of thanks was given by Dr. Meenakshi Jain and program was handled by Bhanupriya Rohila.
