The Interschool Science and Literary Fest at the Central Public School concluded today. On the second day of the fest, the school administration organized Drawing and Debate Competitions.

The Interschool Science and Literary Fest at the Central Public School concluded today. On the second day of the fest, the school administration organized Drawing and Debate Competitions.

25 schools participated in the Drawing Competition and 19 in the Debate Competition.

The Drawing competition was held in three groups, categorized as Doraemon (class 3-5), Disney (class 6-8) and Ben 10 (class 9-12). Central Academy, Chittorgarh stood first in the Doraemon category, while CPS won first prize in the Disney and Ben 10 category.

The Debate competition was divided in two groups, the first group was for class 9-10 which was given the topic ‘Grading system does not show the true merit of students and so should be done away with it’, while the second group was for class 11-12 and the topic was ‘The social networking sites are a menace’.

Maharana Mewar Public School secured the first position in both the categories of the Debate competition.

At the closing ceremony, prizes were distributed to the students. Chief Guest, A. N. Mathur gave away the prizes to the winning students.
