Udaipur, May 16, 2025 - The JEE Advanced 2025 entrance examination will be held on May 18, Sunday, in two shifts. Paper 1 will be held from 09:00 am to 12:00 noon and Paper 2 from 2:30pm to 5:30 pm. Candidates must attempt both papers to be eligible for admission to the IITs.

Through this exam, admission will be granted to approximately 18,000 seats in BTech, Integrated MTech and Dual Degree programmes at 23 IITs across the country. Only those candidates will appear in this exam who are in the top 2.5 lakh of JEE Main exam.

The exam will be in the three subjects – Maths, Physics and Chemistry - and held in CBT (Computer-Based Testing) mode across 222 cities in India and two cities abroad.

The number of questions to be asked and the marks allotted for each question are not pre-disclosed in JEE Advanced. In fact, the marking scheme can vary across different sections of the question paper. Therefore, it is essential for candidates to carefully read the instructions related to the marking scheme provided in each part of the paper.

As per information provided on the official website, copy of the candidate responses will be available on the JEE (Advanced) 2025 website on May 22 at 05:00 pm. Online display of provisional answer keys will be available on May 26 at 10:00 am. The online declaration of final answer key and results of JEE (Advanced) 2025 will be available on June 2, 2025 at 10:00 am.
