JEE Advanced 2026 on May 17
IIT Roorkee, the organising institute, will conduct two compulsory papers of three hours each
Udaipur, Dec 6, 2025 - The country’s major engineering entrance exam, JEE Advanced, will be held on May 17, 2026. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has officially announced the date for this exam through which admissions will be granted to 18,160 seats across 23 IITs.
This year, IIT Roorkee will be the organising institute for JEE Advanced. It will release the detailed schedule on the official website jeeadv.ac.in.
The exam will be divided into two compulsory papers the duration of which will be six hours. Paper 1 will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm while Paper 2 will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Candidates can sit for the exam in English or Hindi and must appear for both the papers to qualify.
