JEE Advanced 2024 Topper List

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has released the results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 today. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.

The examination, held on May 26, 2024 saw the participation of 180,200 candidates across both Paper 1 and Paper 2. Out of these, 48,248 candidates have qualified for the next stage, which includes 7,964 female candidates.

IIT Madras has also unveiled the list of toppers. Ved Lahoti from the IIT Delhi zone has emerged as the top scorer among males, securing an impressive 355 out of 360 marks. He now holds the top position in the Common Rank List (CRL) with Rank 1. In the female category, Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel from the IIT Bombay zone has excelled with a CRL of 7 and a remarkable score of 332 out of 360 marks.

The rank list for JEE Advanced 2024 is prepared based on the aggregate marks obtained by candidates in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. To be included in the rank list, candidates must meet the subject-wise and aggregate qualifying marks as specified by the exam authority.

  • Aggregate Marks Calculation:The total marks are the combined scores from Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • Maximum Aggregate Marks:The highest possible total is 360 marks (180 from Paper 1 and 180 from Paper 2).
  • Maximum Marks in Mathematics:The highest possible score is 120 marks (60 from Paper 1 and 60 from Paper 2).
  • Maximum Marks in Physics:The highest possible score is 120 marks (60 from Paper 1 and 60 from Paper 2).
  • Maximum Marks in Chemistry: The highest possible score is 120 marks (60 from Paper 1 and 60 from Paper 2).
