Udaipur, January 7, 2025 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE Main 2025 city intimation slip by January 12, 2025. The city slip will provide important information about the exam centre and date for registered candidates. The schedule for the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 has been announced by NTA  a few days ago. The exam will begin on January 22 and will continue till January 31,2025. 

How to Download the City Slip?

Candidates can download their JEE Main 2025 city slip from the official website. To access it, they need to log in using their application ID and password available on the official website of jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Difference Between City Slip and Admit Card

It is essential to note that the city slip is not the admit card. While the city slip informs candidates of their exam location and date, the admit card will be released three days before the examination date.  

Important Instructions

Candidates must carry a hard copy of the admit card to the examination hall. Only the admit card will be accepted as a valid entry pass on the day of the exam.

Around 13.8 lakh candidates have registered for JEE Main 2025 Session 1 this year surpassing last year’s 12.21 lakh registrations. Analysts predict that a minimum of 95 percentile will be needed to qualify for JEE Advanced, requiring scores between 170-180 marks. To achieve 99.9 percentile, candidates may need to score 240-280 marks.
