JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Registration Starts

JEE Main Session 2 Registration

Udaipur, January 31, 2025 - Registration for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 session 2 starts from today, January 31,2025 by the National Testing Agency. The registration window will close on February 24, 2025, at 9:00 pm. Candidates must complete their fee payment by 11:50 pm on the same day.

The JEE Main 2025 session 2 is scheduled to take place from April 1 to April 8, 2025 tentatively. The City Intimation slip is expected to be released in the Second week of March. The detailed paper and shift-wise schedule will be released later by NTA. Expected result is to be declared on April 17, 2025. 

Registration Process for Existing and New Candidates

  • Existing Candidates: Those who have already applied for session 1 can simply log in to their account, fill out the application form for session 2, and pay the exam fee.

  • New Candidates: Candidates appearing for JEE Main for the first time this year need to register, fill out their application forms, and pay the exam fee.

Documents Required for Uploading

  • Photograph: A recent passport-size photo with 80% of the face visible (without mask), in color, against a white background. The photo should be between 10 KB and 300 KB in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Signature: A scanned copy of the candidate's signature, clearly legible, between 10 KB and 50 KB in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Class 10 Certificate: A scanned copy of the class 10 or equivalent certificate/markssheet in PDF format, between 10 KB and 300 KB.
  • PwD/PwBD Certificate (if applicable): A scanned copy of the Disability Certificate in PDF format, between 10 KB and 300 KB.

Steps to Apply for JEE Main Session 2

  1. Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.

  2. Open the registration page for session 2.

  3. Fresh candidates must first register and provide the required details.

  4. Existing candidates can log in and proceed to fill out the application form.

  5. Upload all necessary documents and make the payment.

  6. Submit the application form and save the confirmation page for future reference.

JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Updates

NTA concluded the first session of JEE Main 2025, with the BE and BTech paper exams held on January 29, 2025 and the BArch and BPlanning paper on January 30. The exams took place at 598 centres in 284 cities, with approximately 13 lakh candidates. The overall attendance was around 94.5%.
