The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the dates for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main for 2025. This year, the exam will be conducted in two phases, continuing a similar trend from previous years.

Exam Schedule

The first session of JEE Main is scheduled from January 22 to 31, 2025. The second session will take place in April 2025. JEE Main consists of two papers: Paper 1 for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech), and Paper 2 for Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm).

Application Process

The application process for JEE Main 2025 has begun as of October 28, 2024. Candidates can register for the first session until November 22, 2024. Registration is available on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Results Announcement

The results for the first session will be declared on February 12, 2025. Candidates can expect further updates regarding the city intimation slip after registration.

Additional Exam Dates

Along with JEE Main, NTA has also announced the exam dates for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) and the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for 2025.

Previous Year Statistics

In 2024, JEE Main was conducted in January and April. The January session saw 12,21,624 registrations, with 11,70,048 candidates appearing for the exam. The April session had 11,79,569 registrations, with 10,67,959 candidates taking the test. Notably, the total registrations increased from 10.26 lakh in 2022 to 11.62 lakh in 2023.
