JEE Main January Session Exam Begins Jan 21
The BE/BTech examination will be held in 10 shifts over five days from January 21 to January 28
Jan 21, 2026 - The JEE Main 2026 January session examination begins from Wednesday (January 21). It will continue until January 29 in computer-based (CBT) mode.
The BE/BTech examination will be held in 10 shifts over five days from January 21 to January 28. On January 29, the BArch examination will be conducted in a single shift.
The morning shift timing of the exam is from 9:00 am to 12 noon while exam in the second shift will be conducted from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
This year, more than 14.10 lakh students have registered for the examination to be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
