Three students from Rajasthan score perfect 100 in JEE Main Session 1 results
Students from Rajasthan keep up the performance tempo - 5 out of 14 in 2025 and 3 out of 12 in 2026 scored NTA 100!
Udaipur, Feb 16, 2026: Three boys from Rajasthan have secured a perfect NTA score of 100 in the JEE Main Session 1 results declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the evening of February 16.
Across the country, a total of 12 students achieved the perfect score. Apart from the three from Rajasthan, two toppers are from Andhra Pradesh, while one each is from Bihar, Delhi, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Odisha and Telangana.
Last year, 14 students had secured an NTA score of 100, including five from Rajasthan. Several students from Udaipur have also secured above the coveted 99 percentile.
According to the NTA, the NTA score is not the same as the percentage of marks obtained. It is a normalized score calculated across multiple exam shifts and is based on the relative performance of candidates in each specific shift.

- The JEE (Main) - 2026 Paper 1 (B.E. / B. Tech.) Examination was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu).
- The Examination was also conducted in 15 cities outside India in Manama, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Kuwait City, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, West Java, Washington, Munich and Abu Dhabi.
- The final rank of the candidates will be released taking into consideration the best of the two NTA Scores, after both Sessions of the JEE (Main) - 2026 Examination for Paper 1 in accordance with the policy already made.
- NTA made elaborate arrangements at various levels and took help from State and District Authorities for the smooth conduct of the examination
- The OTP-based Aadhaar E-KYC was introduced for the first time as the key method for authenticating candidates during the registration process. The initiative aims prevent impersonation and address potential criticisms in future.
