JEE (Mains) results: MDS Kushal ranks 4th in All India
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced JEE-Main 2014 Common Merit List (CML) late evening on Tuesday. Kushal Babel, student from MDS Sr. Sec. School scored All India Rank 4 and stood 1st in Rajasthan.

The JEE-main results are considered while seeking admission in 30 NITs, 6 IIITs and other state and Centre-sponsored universities.
Kushal Babel, who scored All India Rank- 27th in IIT-JEE (Advance) has already chosen IIT-Mumbai for B.Tech in Computer Science.
According to Dr. Shailendra Somani, Director, MDS Sr. Sec. School, “High weightage of class XII results has made a big difference in the ranking of students.” Some of the students scored less marks in JEE-mains but due to their good performance in Board Exams in class XII, they have scored higher ranks than those who scored better marks in JEE-mains’.
Principal, Dr Nidhi Maheshwari said, “We all are very delighted with the fact that 23 students securing more than 90% marks and 65 students studying in MDS secured more than 80% marks in XII Board exams which has helped them to get selected to the new system of selection in NITs, IIITs etc.
As per Dr. Maheshwari, Kushal has been always been a scholar with great sense of discipline and self determination. He has done true justice with his talent through hard work. Kushal and his sister Sakshi Babel, who also was selected in IIT and is currently studying in IIT-Delhi, both were selected in KVPY together.
