A self funded initiative by Priya Bangard, a resident of Jodhpur in Rajasthan, resulted in a comprehensive website that offers Accountancy education to students, professionals and businessmen.

Priya said, “being from Jodhpur, we would see a lot of people struggling for quality education in smaller cities, unlike their peers in bigger cities, who would have access to quality coaching institutions, tuition centres, etc.”

This thought resulted in her creating a website offering free Accountancy education through audio-video lectures.

Her website, AforAccounts.com, which is currently running in Beta version, is designed for Commerce students of Classes XI and XII and also for small business owners who want to improve their basic understanding of Accountancy.

“Anyone who is not familiar with various accounting concepts can use this site.  This is something that is needed for every business and is not limited to a set of students.

School students can select the lectures based on their syllabus and professionals and businessmen can do so based on their needs.  The website has over 500 lectures and over 1,800 users and going strong.
