A group of 32 students and 9 teachers of Army Goodwill School, Bandipora and Army Goodwill School, Sopore left for Udaipur on Thursday on a Capacity Building Tour, as stated by Press Information Bureau (Defense Wing).

 

Kashmir students to visit Udaipur on Capacity Building Tour

A group of 32 students and 9 teachers of Army Goodwill School, Bandipora and Army Goodwill School, Sopore left for Udaipur on Thursday on a Capacity Building Tour, as stated by Press Information Bureau (Defense Wing).

Udaipur’s one of the leading schools, Maharana Mewar Public School (MMPS) will be hosting the students. “The aim of the program is to broaden the horizon of students and teachers of Kashmir by facilitating positive interaction with the educational fraternity outside Kashmir and to enhance the feeling of national integrity,” statement said.

The exchange and capacity building program will run till 26th December in which the students along with the teachers will be exposed to latest and modern methods of learning & teaching and will stay with the students of MMPS who will attend school curriculum and functions together. They will also visit the Railway Training Institute, attend Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) program conducted by Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.

As part of capacity building workshop, the students will also be visiting places of historical and educational importance in Udaipur.
