Photo is only a graphical representation of Language Lab

A language lab has been set up at the Shramjivi College. Today, on the occasion of its inauguration Dr. Pradeep Kumar Panjabi, Dean, Shramjivi College, expressed his views on the importance of language lab and said that, “it is a new mode of learning a language”.

“Language Lab is a collaboration of Information and Broadcasting technologies. In this era of globalisation, the knowledge of language is a necessity”, claimed Dr. Panjabi.

Language Lab assists in four basic requirements for learning a new language, which are, speaking while reading, learning, listening and writing. This is very useful these days and a popularly used tool.

Present on the occasion Dr. C.P. Agrawal, Dean, Commerce Stream, expressed his views on the benefits of the language lab that, “language skills are a must if we have to communicate with the other countries”.

“For the precise understanding of technical information, expert understanding of language is essential for the students”, said Mamta Sharma, Head, Department of English. Dr. Sharda B Bhatt elaborated the syllabus regarding language lab and provided information on the skills that will be extended thru this medium.
