The Directorate of Open and Distance Learning (DODL), Lovely Professional University (LPU) started its first Distance Study Centre in Udaipur City at Airport Road, Pratapnagar today.

The Distance Study Centre will be providing academic and administrative assistance to the students of Udaipur enrolled in the LPU Distance Learning Program.

Ashok Mittal, Chancellor, LPU said, “Distance Education courses are an efficient way for the students to enhance learning and to expand access to higher education”. He further added, “By opening the LPU Study Center for Distance Learning, we are ensuring that an innovative pedagogy is developed to help students get education which is flexible, economical, convenient and effective by all means.”

Students will be provided with study material, contact classes and various online resources to facilitate their distance learning. Also with the help of LPU’s online software – Learning Management Solutions (LMS), students will be able to see their assignments, study material, fees deposited, and curriculum and also they can give their mock tests online.
