To ensure the implementation of scouting activities across all schools in Udaipur district, a seven-day divisional level training camp organized by Hindustan Scout-Guide is scheduled to be held at Mahaveer Jain Vidhyalaya Sansthan from April 27 to May 3, 2024.  District Collector Arvind Poswal has issued orders directing all principals of government and private schools in the district to ensure the mandatory conduct of scouting activities in schools.

Teacher Training and School Registration Made Mandatory

As per the directive, teachers involved need training, and schools must register by informing the District Education Officer (DEO). The Chief District Education Officer also made it compulsory for 277 teachers from all district blocks to attend the training camp. Similarly, the Joint Director of School Education Udaipur Division issued similar orders.

Gopal Mehta Menaria of Hindustan Scout-Guide highlighted that skilled trainers will provide training along with conducting activities related to scouting in schools.
